Female Dobermans for Adoption

BRITTA

Britta is a charming red and rust, cropped and docked female Doberman Pinscher. She is a bit on the small side which makes her as "cute as a bug!" Britta is *very* playful and loving. She gets along well with other dogs, no birds please, however! Britta is attending training class at Tripke Crown Dog Training in Hutto! Here is her latest reoprt home:

Hey Everyone, It's Britta! This week has been a blast. I am learning tons and tons and this week we got to run around a lot more. I am told we are doing "agility" but the way I see it I get to run through tunnels, jump over sticks and through tires, all the while getting treats, I am not sure it gets any better than that! Aside from doing all that fun agility stuff, I am still working on my basic commands. I have a good heel and sit, and I just love to lie down for as long as I can. We are still doing that "place" command too, which is fine by me because I get to lie down and get more treats. "Come" is still my best and favorite command, sometimes Brittany even tries to trick me and sneak off but I am always paying attention and come as soon as I am called. We have also been sitting at every door that I walk through, this is sometimes hard for me because I just want to keep walking but I promise that I am trying really hard to get it right. Brittany is also teaching me to back up, I don't really understand why this is necessary because I could just turn around, but I do it none the less just to keep Brittany happy. I am really good at the clicker game now, where I have to stand with two feet on this little box, I just figured out this week that that was what she wanted and now I can't get enough of the game! Brittany added a new twist to the clicker game, where she holds this round blue thing in her hand and I am supposed to touch it with my nose, I figured this game out really quickly, now it is almost as much fun as the box game!

Wags and Licks,
Britta

DIAMOND

Diamond is a young adult blue female Doberman with cropped ears. Diamond is very affectionate with her people. She would do best in a home with a male dog.

KIRA

Kira is a 2 year old natural eared female dobie. She is very sweet! She is the quintescintial velcro dog--she wants to snuggle and be petted. Kira is also very playful. She was found as a stray by Austin Animal Control. She is in good health and knows "sit" and "down." We can't understand why her owners didn't come forward for her--she sat at the city pound for 10 long days. She is obviously used to being with her person. When I sat down on the floor, she plopped herself in my lap for snuggles.

Layla

Layla is a 10 month old, red & rust female Doberman with natural ears. She grew up with a toddler and a smaller dog. She would love to be an important part of your family.

MAKENNA

Makenna is an eight-year-old female spayed border collie mix. Makenna, also affectionately called Kikidog, is a high energy dog, even at her age. She loves the company of people, loves to be petted and to give kisses and loves to play. Consequently, she didn't cope well when her family life changed dramatically last year, and she lost her big yard. Fortunately, Makenna had some contacts in the doberman rescue world and is now living in College Station with her doberman foster brothers and sisters. She's made friends among the dobermans and is learning that it's okay to be furry.
