Female Dobermans for Adoption

Britta is a charming red and rust, cropped and docked female Doberman Pinscher. She is a bit on the small side which makes her as “cute as a bug!” She has had some basic obedience training. Britta is *very* playful and loving. She gets along well with other dogs, no birds please, however! She will be ready to adopt around the first week in January.

Diamond is a young adult blue female Doberman with cropped ears. Diamond’s very affectionate with her people. She would do best in a home with a male dog.

Ellie Mae is a 3-4 year old black and tan female with natural ears. She was found as a stray and brought to the Austin pound. While she was initially very shy at the shelter, now that she is in a foster home, she has shown herself to be quite the princess. She gets along with the other dogs at her foster home and immediately made herself at home playing with the toys and wanting to be inside in the A/C. Ellie has some slight vision problems.

Kira is a 2 year old natural eared female dobie. She is very sweet! She is the quintescintial velcro dog–she wants to snuggle and be petted. Kira is also very playful. She was found as a stray by Austin Animal Control. She’s in good health and knows “sit” and “down.” We can’t understand why her owners didn’t come forward for her–she sat at the city pound for 10 long days. She is obviously used to being with her person. When I sat down on the floor, she plopped herself in my lap for snuggles.

Makenna’s an eight-year-old female spayed border collie mix. Makenna, also affectionately called Kikidog, is a high energy dog, even at her age. She loves the company of people, loves to be petted and to give kisses and loves to play. Consequently, she didn’t cope well when her family life changed dramatically last year, and she lost her big yard. Fortunately, Makenna had some contacts in the doberman rescue world and is now living in College Station with her doberman foster brothers and sisters. She’s made friends among the dobermans and is learning that it’s okay to be furry.

Mia is a 6 month old, black and tan, cropped and docked female Doberman. She is *very* full of energy1 She needs an active home that has an energy level to match. Mia gets along well with all other dogs. No cats please… ……

Peaches is what we call a pocket doberman! She only weighs about 55 pounds and she won’t gain much more. Peaches is around 18 months old and fairly well behaved for such a young little girl. She enjoys playing with other dogs, chasing balls and just being a silly puppy. Currently Peaches is working on her house training, basic obedience and a few agility moves. If you are looking for a little girl with big dreams, Peaches may be the girl for you! Contact Brandy for more information.

Prissy is a health happy one year old, black and tan, cropped and docked, spayed female. She is up to date on all her vaccinations. Prissy’s elderly owners could no longer care for her. Prissy enjoys playing with other dogs even ones smaller than she is. She rides well in the car. Prissy will need an experienced dog owner. She has never been taught manners and will need to go to obedience school. She is eager to please and loves attention so I think she will do well in class. Prissy should not be placed with young children as her rambunctious nature could easily knock a child down.
